Slideshow of photographs taken during our trip to Liverpool as part of the Liverpool Re-Imagining the Beatles project. The background music is the title track from the album. Photographs taken and copyrighted by Carole May (2009).

Bellingham currently has a campaign going to educate the public on the harmful effects of throwing plastic materials into our waters. I was honored that they chose one of my harbor seal photos for this campaign. The poster is at Boulevard Park, just to the left of the Woods Coffee building. Please stop by and take a look, and bring your children also. Explain to them the harmful effects of plastics so that the future of our wonderful marine life will be insured.

I was recently named Marine Photographer of the Month in Cruising magazine. The magazine focuses on boating and marine life in the Pacific Northwest. My photos were used on the cover, on the opening page, and in the article.

Comcast Spotlight needed a photograph of Mount Baker for a background in a commercial they were shooting for a law office. They chose one of mine! If you live in the Bellingham area, check out the commercial for Buckland and Schumm on TV or watch the commercial online at their website here.

On a recent trip to England, I photographed David Lanz and Gary Stroutsos in Liverpool. Two of my images were chosen for his new CD, "Liverpool . . . Re-imagining the Beatles".
